"The Gathering Place for the RiNo Neighborhood."

"ALL ARE WELCOME"

A note from developer, Bernard Hurley, and his family:

"In 1997 my parents helped me purchase my first piece of property in this assemblage of land in the River North (RiNo) community where I operate my environmental company to this day. Since then, they loved and believed in my vision for the property and instilled my values in life. As I grew up, our home was a gathering place for many friends and family. My mother would always say “ALL ARE WELCOME.” I believe that this will be that sense of place, that gathering place for the RiNo neighborhood. My parents have since passed away and this development, this gathering place is a tribute to their memory and strong sense of community where all are welcome. With our project adjacent to the South Platte River and surrounded by some of the neighborhood’s most talented artists, it wasn’t difficult to define the character of the site. Our vision is to transform this site into a regional entertainment destination for all ages and to create a place where people can call home. Our goal is not only to create a public space that captures the heart of surrounding communities, but brings them back to this area time and time again."

GOALS FOR THE PROJECT
Hurley Place is a mixed-use development where the varying uses support one another throughout
all times of the day, week, and year. In order for Hurley Place to truly reach this vision, the project
utilizes four guiding ideas to inform the design:
» A Place that is of the Neighborhood and the Community of RiNo
» Encourage Local Artists and Allow for Entertainment Opportunities
» Regional Destination that Embraces the Colorado Lifestyle
» Multi-Generational Place to create a Lasting Legacy

PUBLIC SPACE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME
The public spaces at Hurley Place are designed to encourage visitors of all ages to come, play and stay. Each plaza, great lawn, and terrace are flexible in their design to allow for varying events throughout the day. The duality of each of these spaces allows for a space such as a stage to transform from a children’s pop-jet water feature into a performance stage for a 1,000 person concert at night.

THE IDEAL URBAN LOCATION
Bordered by the South Platte River and less than a mile away from the 38th and Blake Station, Hurley Place is ideally located in the RiNo neighborhood. The site is easily accessible for bikers, walkers, and transit users.
